Danielle McLaughlin is the Director of Education for the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and Education Trust. She held the 2010-2011 Law Foundation of Ontario Community Leadership in Justice Fellowship, spending the first 6 months of 2011as a visiting fellow at the Faculty of Education at the University of Windsor. In May 2013, Danielle was honoured by the Canadian Civil Liberties Association for her 25 years in civil liberties education. Since 1988, Danielle has designed and delivered programs that engage students from kindergarten to high schools, to faculties of education, to law schools in lively discussion about the conflicts of rights and freedoms that affect everyone who lives in a democracy. She is author of That’s Not Fair!, a book about civil liberties for kids in grades 2 to 5, to be published in 2016 by Kids Can Press.
