Tikkun leader Kaitlin Madore encouraged the youth to take the lead and make decisions about what they envision for this event. The youth have since organized the dancing, the drumming groups, and craft displays (which they are making themselves). The Aboriginal facilitator in the school is working with the art teacher for a special Indigenous arts and craft class that has thirty students attending and participating. In this class, Indigenous youth will be leading a class on the skills needed to make and sew moccasins.
